i am on christmas vacation.

all i wanted was a cup of hot chocolate, but all we had was this chocolate powder for coffee and baking cocoa.  so i had to improvise.  it tastes like choco-water, but i think i'm going to drink my whole mug.  omg i just took another gulp.  make that soapy choco-wat.

also i can barely think.  slash write.  finals have fRiEd my brain.

chuck is a little slut.  that cat and i havent stopped cuddling since i walked in the door.

everytime i go home my wardrobe doubles.  my sister susan is a clothes fiend.  if only i wore four sizes bigger in pants and two smaller in shoes.

i need to read.  seriously i miss reading.  this includes any material devoid of bromines, double bonds, international political economy, solvents, MNCs, or marxists.  but i am interested in learning more about russian history.

also i would like to learn more about world history.  im thinking of maybe rereading some of my notes from high school.  coach bryan reloaded okaaaay.

uhm so turns out i'm home for break now, but UTers won't even be here until the 20th, which is the very day i leave for florida for a week.  andrew comes the 26th, then I'M GOING TO HAWAII FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY.

should i cut my hair?

im reading this book called 'the historian' about the legend of dracula and okay too bad today i had to stop reading it b.c it was seriously scaring me. but i have to press on b.c i think theyre about to kill the tricky bastard.

i wish i knew more about european history.

also i am in my twenties. what is that?? hay, im mary, i'm in my twenties.

i got some fish for my bday. theyre chillaxing by my books. if they die, i will lose it. pretty sure when noomis the beta left me this summer for the great fish tank in the sky i was somber for at least three days.  it's Amazing how fuggin attached you can get to the little guys.

how come my throat hurts? anyone?

i wish i was a mastermind painter. or a poet. if yall dont read ee cummings, effing check out some of his stuff. it will make your heart melt i garontee.

oh yah, went to the 311 concert in austin this past wkend. that was pretty tightashell. so many sweaty bodies and screaming lyrics and clouds of smoke and the loudest music known to mankind. so much energy.

kk i would like to make out please.

whats up homeslice

i am currently in sherman, texas (north of dallas) the day before school starts.  oh, austin college.

three days ago (august 27th) i returned from two weeks in massachusetts.
http://community.webshots.com/album/437955032gZpsRV
the trip: attended two chem II classes, met a few westford kids aka friends of andrew, went into the catskill mountains for a night, and then one night in narrowsburg new york with my aunt/uncle and pugs, splashing around in walden pond (think thoreau), vacation to andrews grandma in hanover newhampshire, kayaking at the zappala lake house, lunch by a waterfall in vermont, outdoor musical on the NH seashore, baked two pecan pies, bowling and banana splits, biked in the hills of westford massachusetts, oh and i golfed.

i have the first season of the gilmore girls and i think im ODing.

please dont make me take organic chemistry!

all right folks it is about twenty sixish hours until i will be in westford, massachusetts to visit the boyfriend, andrew. okay that is whacked out because i have been looking forward to this trip all summer (pretty sure i started packing a week ago).  the trip will be dotted with a jaunt to new york (one night with the aunt and uncle, one at the catskill mountains), attending class with andrew (chem II roxmysox), fancy dinner so i can bust out my new pretty dress (plus some highasthesky shoes so i will be about six two), and various and sundry activities.  i heard it gets cold at night up there.

besides the masstrip, i have been working and therefore tanning and reading.  i love reading and missed it up at school.  hmm i bought this fat one for the plane.

oh also i rediscovered rollerblading.  and have yet to fall.

kk <3 yall

everyone always says this, but "it's been a long time since my last entry."  hmm i dont know why, i guess i just check for updates from everyone else, and just never commit to writing a newbie myself.

my grandparents have been visiting for about two weeks now. i've had to share my bedroom with my little sister (who, by the way, is almost eighteen).  this is all right except when we both cant sleep and are just simultain flopping around in the sheets and pissing each other off.  plus it's gotten way messy in here.

so i guess i finished summer school.  UH has a pretty campus but way too many squirrels.  i made a few friends and spent a whole lot of sweet summer time on calculus.

so i guess i also started working.  i REALLY didnt want to lifeguard again, but alas, it was my best option. it's pretty cute i think i'll be working at brook forest.

this mother, my first day on the job (save the two previous summers ive been a guard), was yelling at me for the thunder. it was Amazing. she just kept saying "but it's sunny but it's sunny can i talk to your supervisor but it's sunny" i was about to have a heart attack. lightning is a tricky striker, my friend. it'll zap that pool in broad daylight itellyou.

at any rate, in some ways i'm glad the summer is halfway through while at other times im supahsad.  everything is so bittersweet.

ohshit i baked a pecan pie for the fourth and i love it. baking pies is quite a neat forte.
